Title: Twisted
Category: Poetry
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Theme(s): Betrayal, Love

How could you possibly delight in my agony?
Yet you look at me with that sick twisted smile;
As the knife goes deep into my heart.
When I stumble back from the blow,
You examine your work with simple satisfaction.
Where is the man I used to know?
Who is this child with a bloody knife?
When I thought the worst was over, I retreated in shame.
In my corner your allies wait with poisoned arrows,
So I just close my eyes and await slow death,
Wondering why I still love you.
